our weather bureau here in the Philippines should have renamed our season, from wet and dry season to a more prominent but quirky name, La Nina, for that long and heavy rain months and El Nino, for the long dry spell which i think is just starting now. talked about global warming, e? look at those weeds. ..

- this is where my nephew’s goat roam freely and feed on these stubborn and somehow thorny weeds

- they used to be that long with outstretched stems and large leaves and have dainty little yellow blooms

- time for some cutting twigs…how else would you find these in any way pretty?

- and look at those tiny thorny fruit-like flowers clung to my capri…itchy, if i may say!

- and ready for painting…

- few brushes here, little stroke there…seen the transformation?

- reddish-brown for the branches to complement the yellows…and a matching white teapot as the vase

- here’s one that i arranged, replacing the old plastic flowers in the loo…

- little bit of close-up…distressed painting…i know…no one wants to be perfect here…

- here’s the teapot now…no tea, but dried and yellowy twigs

- closer please ^_^ would anyone imagine they were my UNFRIENDLY WEEDS IN THE YARD? once the paint really dried up, few drops of scented oil…and i’m good sniffing at them. do the colors come alive? bet they do!

Wow, that’s impressive! It totally doesn’t look painted, and it looks just like the ones you can buy in the store. Love it! Thanks for sharing
