Was “forced” to buy this set of home cleaners last week. Wanted to say “no” to the seller, because, I happen to have kitchen cleaners under the shelves. But, who can’t say no to a dear friend who ventures into direct selling lately, when, her husband, at the age of 45 had suffered a mild stroke, prompting him to stop working indefinitely. They can always apply for disability benefits. But, the proceeds, he will used for treatments and medicines. Compassion befall on me. Their two kids were still in grade school. The wife, my friend, is a government employee. We know how much a government employee earns.

Sometimes, tragedy struck in the middle of nowhere. I ran out of words every time we get to talk. Now, the friend is making extra effort to find additional income. Anyway, she is such a very resilient and a very striving woman.

Thus, when she knocked on my door and offered these items, even if the frugal in me wanted to “hesitate”, I shun up the evil in me and paid them off.  Anyway, I could use them for my cleaning schedules this weekend.

  • -Have used the toilet bowl cleaner and the floor tile cleaner  this morning to clean the bathrooms. It’s a great cleaner to take away grime and dirt in the loo. And, leaves the wall tiles gleaming clean. Plus, it leaves a lemony and fresh fragrant in the bathroom area.

  • The odor eater, I sprayed it off at the area rug in the living room. It instantly removes that foul smell, leaving the family room smelling fresh, too. Saved me from air freshener :)

  • -The yellow one, which is a dishwashing liquid, is a great help in the sink area. It makes the kids enjoy washing the dishes :)

  • -Lastly, the small pink bottle is a hand cleaner. We always had one in the two bathrooms, and one, near the sink. It is a routine for the kids to wash up before and after every meal. Or, when they arrived from school or any other activity. Teaching the kids to be hygienic makes them stay away from bacteria and viruses found just about anywhere.

Remember, it always pays to be squeaky clean :)

Happy cleaning this weekend.
