as my very first  post for this site,  i opted to share this zero-budget centerpiece. i chose this as it is very apt for the coming christmas season,  when everybody is decorating their homes.  decorating means having to spend on things/materials needed for a project.  but since thriftiness is my game, i have tons of ideas and designs that will be zero dollar spent!

i began by finding this nearly worn rectangular box in the storage…

plain white box

wrap it up with an old paper

place a large candle in the middle

choosing from an array of knick knacks, this one...

or maybe this...

using a glue gun, i glued the trimmings, added some dried vines... and i have a nifty table decor
